Why don’t we use only renewable energy like Solar and wind power?

Why can’t we just make the change? Train people in the coal industry to work in these new industry’s.
Wind turbines are only 15% efficient - so they are a waste of time/money.

what is most used form of energy in Maine? Wind vs. Solar Energy? Which produces most megawatts, and which is owned more? No oppinions please, just please have proof. (websites, books ect)
